Michael Edmonds

Michael is currently undertaking his PhD concurrently with his MBBS at the University of Adelaide . He has completed 5 of the 6 years of his MBBS, and plans to finish this course in 2004. He has gained First-Class Honours in a Bachelor of Medical Science from a research year in 2000, following on from a research project undertaken as part of his fourth year of MBBS in 1999. Together with Tim Crichton, he won the Douglas Hardy Research Award for best fourth year research project in 1999.

Outside of the University, Michael enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing, rogaining and camping. He plays tennis, basketball and mixed netball. He is also involved in Problem-Based Learning teaching at the University of Adelaide Medical School.
